Perhaps the strangest of the Broken Lands lie near its heart. The rugged hills and plains of Numeria are home to many Kellid (ethnicity of Human) clans. However, in the distant past, the crash of a scientifically advanced starship brought strange aliens, mechanical monstrosities, and technological wonders to Golarion, but its fiery arrival left large reaches of the surrounding land blighted and blasted even to this day. Alien artifacts and equipment shot through the skies and scattered throughout the land, and these strange relics from another world beyond the stars have shaped life for the grim, survivalist tribes of Numeria ever since.
Vast swaths of Numeria are cratered, irradiated wastelands populated by metal-clawed monsters with eyes of burning light. But skymetal and fragments of technology are powerful resources, and the lure of such wealth draws the brave and foolish alike.
