Events

Alexander and Dexter investigated about the kidnapping of Kanako and Adriana Chopra. To know where they are, Kanako used one of her Knacks to send a message to Alexander in a manner of a talking cat. The Band discovers where she is, and to disguise the Band, Alexander organizes a festival at the last minute in the Washington Park region. He succeeded in mobilizing people and resources, attracting the attention of other politicians of the city.

They discover Kanako is at a mansion near Washington Park, and with the cover provided by the festival, both Alexander and Dexter sneak into the place. They set free both Kanako and Adriana, and every other prisoner in the place. The mansion had a system of tunnels that they didn't tried to wander there. They are discovered by the security of the kidnapper, and start fighting.

During the conflict, the Oni appears, and they discover the kidnapper, that is the Oni's boss, is called Vaenndr, an Álfr that has the ability to charm other people and command them to do anything for him. The Band fights the Oni and the other guards, and win, but at a cost. Kanako breaks a arm, and all the other get many bruises and cuts. They defeated the Oni discovered that some types of noises can create big headaches for him, so they used a bell ringtone from a smartphone, an idea from Dexter.

The Band ties up the Oni, and get him to a van to interrogate him to know more about what is happening in the city. Kanako protested against the idea of having an Oni, but Alexander persuaded her to trust his instincts, and that they could even use the Oni as an ally. After the incident, some days have passed, and they heal many of the wounds, except Kanako that still has her arm broken.
