Events
Members of the Band that were present in the events of session received some sort of message or visions about a problem they must solve, about a soon to be awakened Scion in the small town of Wonder Lake near Chicago. Alexander received visions about it, Balthasar was messaged by Hugin and Munin, Kanako received a message from the kami that works for her father, Dexter discovered rumors about it in the Marquis of Carabás, and Naion got a gig to discover about newly awakened kids that need help.
They all went to Wonder Lake and arrived there in the afternoon. The school was catching fire, but the firemen were putting out the fires. The police was there and many people curious about what happened. The Band started talking to the people, Kanako used her Knacks to disguise herself as a police detective and asked the arson investigator working on the case, Kevin Mulroney, questions about what happened. He said that a group of punks started fighting, burned the building, and some of them got killed by cuts. Others have escaped in a car, so it seems from the tracks in the parking lot of the school. One of the school kids have disappeared, but he can't link the they to the fight, yet.
Alexander and Balthasar both saw a woman ghost watching out the scene, as both have access to the Death Purview. The two called the ghost and talked to her, face scarred by something unnatural. She said that she is a scion, and her Band was investigating kids that awakened but never met their parents, or their parents rejected them, Now these kids are being targeted by titanspawn and some other groups that could abuse or kill them. One of these kids is a student in this school, the School of the Shining King. She also explained that some other guys appeared and started attacking them, some of they were killed, but she was killed protecting her friends. Now the other members of her Band got arrested and sent to the local precinct. She asked the Band to vow to help her, so she can help them with the investigation. Alexander and Balthasar agreed, and she merged with Alexander to further help them when needed.
Naion and the other members of the Band discovered that a handsome looking man was watching the Band. He met them and introduced himself as Bernard Panaretos. Alexander identified him as having Theoi blood, but with a twist of having a grass scent in addition to the common Theoi scent. The man explained he noticed that a middle-aged woman is looking suspicious and speaking to someone in the cellphone. He will track her to help the Band solve the missing student disappearance. He wants to help the kids too. Balthasar tried to see what is his Fate, or if he would somehow betray the Band, but something powerful blocked his visions, like Panaretos had some kind of warding or hiding from Fate itself. After the meeting, Panaretos got the Band's contact by getting Kanako's phone number, and showing clear as day that he is interested in her.
The Band reunited to decide how they will investigate this case.
