Events
After the Band talked to Bernard Panaretos, they decided to divide and investigate covering as much ground as possible. Dexter and Naion started looking into the underground local community of delinquents and similar folk that could know more about what was happening in the city, and if something unusual was happening. Alexander, Balthasar, and Kanako went to the local police department to speak and gather more information from the two members from the ghost's Band, Regina Cruz and Angela Swift.
Naion and Dexter went looking for deliquents and other criminals in the underground of the city, and got some information, after needing to beat some of them of course. They discovered that a new Father arrived in thge city with some missionaries that are living the in Church. They interact with the local community and sometimes help or pay for information, and some other menial jobs to the poor locals that live here. Dexter and Naion also got the respect of some troublemakers along the investigation.
Balthasar posed as a temporary lawyer of both Regina and Angela using some help from Alexander's Tianming Purview to avoid the necessary paperwork. Inside the interrogation room, Balthasar could discover the two girls were framed as the arsonists, but it is false, because the men who kidnapped the student from the school were responsible. Unfortunately, Regina needed to kill one of them, but Joanna Deveraux sacrificed herself to save her friends and members of her Band. Unfortunately the men got what they wanted, kidnap a student named Carmen Saavedra. Balthasar and the Band promised to get both girls out of prison and clear their names with the best possible lawyer Alexander has access.
Alexander, Balthasar, and Kanako went to the motel room the girls were staying during their investigation on the Missing Awakened Kids, as they explained there they would find everything they got, and the Band can take anything they need to succeed in the investigation. The Band didn't have the keys of the room, but Kanako talked with the kami from the door's lock explaining the situation and asking access to the room. They got the access, and soon started looking for clues. Balthasar accessed Joanna's notebook and learning everything about their investigation. Alexander talked with Joanna about a strange box in their room, discovering that there is a Relic inside, a sword named Fragarach, the birthright of one of the kids, the son of Manannán Mac Lir.
The Band learned that Joanna and her Band were looking for Carmen Saavedra, 18 and of unknown divine parent, Susan Ray, 17 and daughter of Apollo, Brendan Gair, 13 and son of Manannán mac Lir, and Amanda Rashimi, 14 and daughter of Djehuty. They also gathered many clues since the news about the missing kids, their former home and parents, what happened before their kidnaps, and the last known circumstances of their missing. Oddly enough, all of them had some kind of contact with The Shining religion, and either their parents were religious, they attended church, or were visited by a Father and some missionaries before they were kidnapped.
After their separation, the Band reunites in a local restaurant because Dexter was hungry and ordered a big mixed eggs with bacon and coffee. They spotted three men with sunglasses that were watching them. Two of these men entered the restaurant and started drinking beer, always watching the Band. The third stayed in the parking lot smoking a cigar. These men were wearing fedora hats. The Band quickly made a plan, and Naion was made as bait, leaving the restaurant to a alley to get the mysterious men's attention.
The plan worked, and the rest of the Band ambushed them in a alley, after Naion summoned his step-nephew Ahti, a giant but teen wolf, to intimidate the men, but they were not impressed. They tried to intimidate Naion to leave the town with his friends and never come back. Unfortunately for them, the rest of the Band made a surprise attack and began fighting them. Balthasar was terrifyied by one of the men's power, and couldn't fight. Dexter, Kanako, Ahti and Naion fought the men, and killed both of them, leaving the third with some bruises (Dexter threw one of the men into the other because of his Epic Strength). Alexander arrived calmly after the fight to interrogate the third man, terrified by mister Zhao's Dreadful Aura.
These men were not normal humans, something is odd about them...
