Mortals touched by Archfae blood are called Dragonborn. They have skin and hair, and they are almost always powerful Sorcerers. Along with the atypical eye colors that Highbourne usually have, Dragonborn have at least one of the following traits:
- Horns on their head
- Slitted pupils, possibly with a third eyelid, granting the ability to see in the dark.
- Scales on the backs of their hands, the sides of the face, along the shoulders, and/or down the back (never covering the whole body)
- Clawed fingers and/or sharp teeth
- Tattoo-like markings
- Pointed ears
- Rarely, bat-like wings; capable of flight, but clothing needs to be tailored to fit.
