Arachne is the constellation goddess of spiders as well as all things that creep in the dark. She has a motherly but possessive attitude towards her "children", all literal spiders as well as beings molded by her touch such as Drow, Driders, Chitines, and Choldrith. She sees every being in the universe that isn't her offspring as prey to be devoured. Arachne schemes to have her children devour the weak and birth more of her own progeny. This attitude has made her distrusted and reviled by gods and mortals alike.
