Much like its northern neighbor, the lands of Tantalia are covered in lush rainforest with a canopy so dense that the forest floor is shrouded in darkness, even in daytime. Tantalia is home to the Yuan-Ti, a vicious, cruel race, constantly fighting amongst themselves. Legends say that long ago a grand civilization of Yuan-Ti ruled over the entire continent, keeping every other species in slavery. No one knows how that civilization collapsed, but all that remains are their overgrown temples and their venomous descendants fighting over the ruins. Today, the land is ruled by the Queen of Fangs, an absolute monarch whose word is law. However, she is constantly thwarting attempts to assassinate her and usurp her throne.
