Across Northwestern Sea from Tulsa-aria, Fortune's Vanguard sailed onward to Rosemore Island

Over the journey, Dathrun, Plessius, Zayn Moore, Kizmet and Lashance, and Reiga were contacted by Woodsworth Moure through the powers of Caduceus:

  • The Dawnlight Inquisition has declared war on the Vaelhrathi.
  • Dathrun learned of the limitations on Sending, and was updated on Xael's journey. He was asked of the Fall of Udrodzid, and claimed the beast slew thousands.
  • Plessius has been imprisoned, but treated well. He assured Woodsworth to not fret. He insisted Caduceus is Something Greater Than Currently Understood
  • Zayn spoke of knowing of our request to make him our Appraiser, but was unsure if it would be fulfilled.
  • Kizmet and Lashance welcomed Woodsworth warmly, and spoke of the Mystic Storms Southwest of Tulsa-Aria. It seems that the region is subjected to eternal rain.
  • Reiga insisted that Woodsworth is playing with forces he does not understand. She seemed concerned primarily about her. (Ashpa?)

Fourteen days of travel to the isle Rosemore, the Vanguard landed outside the abandoned Port Skipper . A purple-wooden boat, made from rich exquisite materials, was also seen just offshore of the island. This boat was Kr'af's half-finished second masterpiece left at Egland after the events at The Feast of Egland's Best. Our red kobold was very unhappy with seeing his masterpiece and craftsmenship be ripped from him.

The Reliable and crew ( Jix'tiir , Florya and other mercenaries of Osimar's Blades) met with the Vanguard, and agreed to take a quick tour of Sanctum Alpha (The Clouded Facility). The crew of The Reliable would begin making preparations for a base camp at Port Skipper, where the remaining twelve (Vanguard and Reliable) would travel inland on carriages conjured by the caretaker. The Island was SilentBarely even insects could be heard as the wispy pale horses moved through the dying forests and hills on isle Rosemore. Some things did stir though as the forest was cleared and the group was closer to the hills. Undead animals, easy to slay, attacked in small groups, but through numbers they were easy to dispatch.

Arriving at the Deadly Cave, the first sighting of the Blue Wrath (disease) since our arrival. The cave itself was thick with the opaque fog. Both groups tied eachother to ropes, and traveled inward to the breach in the wall. Avoiding the remains of the Late Captain John Ogwang and his mates, they entered the Sanctum with Jix'tiir and the mercenaries. Inside, the hired group was given a tour of the facility, with the following specifications:

  • The pressure room with the fogs in it was to not be fucked with, and the mercenaries ended up putting a sort of tarp/sign on the doors that lead into there.
  • The jail room's experimentation chamber was discussed and the manner of torture/experimentation with gasses was mentioned.
  • The teleportation system to the Mystic Riverstones: Rosemore was shown with advice to not fuck with it.

After, Woodsworth sat with the group in Sanctum Alpha, Octahedron Chamber, and brought out numerous candles. Each lit with Caduceus resting in the middle, for 40 minutes did he focus. A series of tangled whispers, numerous layers of knowledge was before the thoughtful Caretaker. Between these whispers, the Legends of ALPHA were understood.

Without discussing that knowledge with Jix'tiir nor the remaining Vanguard yet, they headed out cave-wise to the remaining carriages...

After leaving the facility, the Vanguard had to handle things with island's Caretaker. Traveling to Mountainside Camp, they met with Ribwort who mentioned that some losses happened from other infected leshies while we were away. The Island, albeit mostly safe, was still a hostile land. Traveling with the fungus leshy to the North, a small grove in a decaying forest, laid the comatose Waking Bittercress. After catching up with a very chill petal leshy, the Woodsworth used Restoration on the comatose Caretaker, pleading for the Spirit of Luck and Life to intercede.

Waking Bittercress awoke from their slumber, and thanked the Vanguard for their kindness. Recanting the events up to Waking Bittercress's collapse, the Leshy assumed them that Rosemore Island would be taken care of. It might take some time, but there would be no need to worry about the Island's safety now. With that, Silent Hedera was brought back. They informed the Vanguard that they are a Vessel of the World, much like Caduceus

With a long, late day of travel, the Vanguard decided to rest at Bittercress's grove... Traveling back to the ship this late at night would be very tiring.
