Session 104: Greater Depths of the Fallen Realm

A month has passed since we've the seen the sun. So many faces and lives, o' time twists by; let us hope our gains are worth the pains elsewhere.

Our crusade into the depths of Udrodzid has let us free many of the undead souls here to true rest.

Ripleyfinished her studies at Academy of Innovator Mik'tau Umbra the Keen. She navigated the back roads, guided to our position through Sendings, and was able to regroup.

J'ack Rameur, Xael, and Cleis Frostclaw cleared the path to the The Red Dragon's Emergence: A small cavern-way with a massive fissure in the ground. Water drips and accumulates in the fissure. Around it, a lost mining camp. Above it, our group constructed a platform of wooden planks and a reinforced tent. We secured a small ritual site for Caretaker Woodsworth Moure to seek the knowledge of history. Trusting his group to handle things, communications with The Slowcart Foundation were handed over to Milu Soma. Ripley was to watch the eastern way.

A member of the Vaelhrathi arrived to help defend the Caretaker. He is named Byørno, and wields an ancestral greatbow made from the bone of a mystical beast.

Preparations were made for the oncoming tides. A tower was reconstructed, allowing a single unit to see all angles of the cavern at once. And the tent of rituals was reinforced, giving the caretaker extra protection when it would be most needed.

Incense and candles filled the tent-chamber where it would take all our focus to incant. We began the ritual.

A few days it will take. We can only hope our allies will be successful.

Tuvron, and Tulsa Aria must know.
Why this came to be. Who this came from.
The senseless loss of a realm so inventive.
How could you emerge here and nowhere else?
Were you too, fleeing an Ancient Evil?

The first night came to be, though time passes differently when underground.

Xael and J'ack stood at different entrances as Milu crafted illusory terrain. They funneled the enemies effectively, and crushed the troops with their weapons.

Cleis hailed down explosive spheres and utilizes his trap runes. Byørno called out attack angles and fired his bow steadily.

A few waves to the east, and some from the south. As we handled them, more came from the north.

Our watchtower took some damage, but through powerful magic and excellent swing, we prevented them from overwhelming us.

We now rest and prepare what actions we take next; The Caretaker is busy incanting.
