During
the night, the party heard some odd pitch like sounds through the storm. Bjørn and Alosrin identified it as a predatory animal using sonar to find their prey.
But the group was comfortable and safe inside Alosrin’s Cozy Cabin.
After getting ready, they started making their way to the next Pilar. The storm
raged on and lightning started hitting the trees. Betty prepared some
electricity resistant elixirs for the group.
After finding the Yellow Pilar, three Demon looking Bat-like creatures
attacked. However, both Betty and Krystoff identified them as Sabosans. Which
are not Demons but a native carnivorous creature of the Mwangi Expanse.
A battle with them ensued, while the pillar’s beams jolted them with Lightning.
Due to combat superiority and Betty’s protection against Electricity, the group easily overpowered the Sabosans.
As only one of the bat creatures remained, Alosrin spoke to it in Abyssal, and convinced
it to leave and hunt elsewhere. Overpowered and near death, the predator
complied and fled north.
The group was free to destroy the Yellow pillar and had little trouble of doing
so.
As darkness set, Alosrin summoned the Cozy cabin and the group prepared to rest
for the night after a successful day.
