The love letter is dated around a decade ago, during the time of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" when Tony Viscounti was in boot camp.
Talking to Tony Viscounti, he indicated that this letter had precipitated a break up with David Kraus. Tony had told David to not write to him, since a letter could cause him to be dishonorably discharged.
