Janet Flock has sent a letter to the The Murder Mavens informing them that she has been arrested. After closing Candle Light Booksellers for the day, Janet went to Phaccione's Deli before the BBCWR's monthly meeting. When she returned, she discovered Jack Stratt, the president of the BBCWR lying dead in the foyer. According to Sheriff Wyman Dalrymple, Jack Stratt was shot with Chekov's Gun, a gun that has hung behind the register at Candlelight for as long as anyone can remember.
