In love with the God of Beauty, Narsus, Echo spent many years trying to hunt down a white stag after the deity decreed that anyone who wished to marry him must kill one. She was eventually successful: but by the time she did, he had already been spirited away by Queen Calliope of Aresia.
In retaliation, Echo led Mytros in a war against Aresia: and this was the start of the Aresian Campaigns.
Echo has led many wars in the centuries since, trying to win back her love. She also sits on the Mytrosian council, for the district of Pashavgos, where she pushes her political agenda ferociously: “Futhermore, Aresia must be destroyed!”
