Garnox is Braz's mentor, having taught him divination magic and leading him to the worship of Mytros. As a follower of the Five, Garnox was somewhat disliked within his home of Pamplaxia who took a more neutral stance towards the Titans and Gods.
Until recently Garnox has been in a prolonged state of sleep, having been poisoned by Borborygmos on the orders of Mother Irma. It is this slumber that inspired Braz to leave the village and join the Oracle's Chosen in the first place, as he was searching for a cure to this and the Curse of the Harpies that plagued his village.
Garnox is now awake, however, having been cured and woken by Hippofilius, who recognized the poison and knew the antidote, during the group's visit to Pamplaxia.
