With only one eye, some speculate he is half-Cyclops based on the fact that nobody remembers how he 'lost' his eye and his size.
Borborygmos was convinced by Mother Irma that Sydon would remove his curse in exchange for his service. Because of this belief, he poisoned Garnox and fought Braz under her orders. The fight with Braz and the Oracle's Chosen killed him - though Mother Irma took his body with her, presumably to Praxys.
