Xanthia - Session 112 - Xan-ton Factor

Account

Session 112: 25th October 2022 - Fire

Nhenhen pulls Xan into their tent, but not before Xan casts a fog cloud above their head to hide their movements. In the tent Nhehnen shoves a small pin barrel into Xan’s hands

“Burn the water, they’ll have nowhere to retreat.” Xan nods, and clambers up the rocks towards the bay. Nhenhen steps away and send a shooting beam of flames out which barely passes by Theo, hitting two of the harpies attacking the rest of the party.

As Xan scaled the cliffs with ease, she runs through her options.

One - jump into the waves, swim and climb the best to set it alight. But the seas is treacherous and the sea coming in. Against her pace. Not her friend today.

Two - the cliff tops. A few gaps to jump over the water but nothing she hadn't done before in play. She tracesl a path with her eyes and imagines the jumps. Doable.

She speeds past a group of her allies, pirates fighting the horrid Aphemia as they scream blue murder. Her feet hit stone and she storms forward, clutching the barrel close to her chest.

Keeping pace she reaches a small rickety bridge before her and between her and the next cliff face. She glances back seeing nothing but lightning, flames and storms as the battle continues. She steadies her breath as the excitement brims in her chest of the battle, but her eyes still search the crown for her allies.

Nobody down.

Her eyes turn back to the swaying bridge in front of her.

Like the tower of wrecks, she easily navigates the towering rock towers, landing on one which probably could do with more stability, but landing nonetheless. She throws the academy fire far into the harpies nest and regains her balance on the unstable ground.

The harpy that screamed Braz's name heads towards Xan, gunning for her at speed. Xan takes one second and wraps her arms around the beasts waist, rightly holding and pushing both of them down down down underneath the surface of the waves. She grips on tight, digging her nails into her back in a tight grasp.

The darkness of the water surrounds them. Xan smiles as the harpy squirms.
