Xanthia - Session 128 - White sands and crystal waters

Account

“The brightest star in the night sky is called The Golden Heart. It represents the tree from when Thylea sacrificed herself to create our land.

A trio of stars around The Golden Heart. To the side, a single pulsing star watching over. Her husband. Waiting in an endless vigil.”

Over a day or so they sail through the dark towards the island, The Golden Heart. A pure white beach. A huge forest of oak and moss looms over them. A smell herd of deer make their way towards our boat. They seem peaceful.

Xan recalls the sailor stories of divine beasts, that they spoke of capturing and reutning to Mytros with a hide. They would be set for life. Xan send a message around the crew to hold off on hunting or capturing of these creatures.

Loreus seems to be pointing, out into the forst while he speaks to Alke. He is once again waxing poetic words about the land they stand on.

Kyrah comes down to the Upper and tells them more about the island.

Trees and mountains, some groves and hidden areas. Most of the trees are made from oak but she had spotted some olive groves. There are reefs nearby to the island - a surprise that they didn’t hit anything on the day in. If the storeis are true there are many other magnificent animals on the land.

The beaches are tranquil beauty, white warm sand and crystal clear waters. Brightly coloured shells dot the sand. Colourful fish swim the shores and are delighted to see the boat. Under the sea they spot an abundance of oysters and clams. It’s too perfect.

“Are we dead? This is what heaven feels like?” Xan verbalised, her hands covered in sand. Helikaon and Hipofilius raise their senses to the land, and sense some hallowed presence, but nothing untoward.

It’s a home of nymphs. Pandora was separated from her own home and lost a lot of her power, this feels liek the place of nymphs, and we should be careful. Calliope echoes her words.

The water and neried

Xan, Pholon, Kyrah and Theo walk joyfully across the shore, running back and forth. They engage in frivolity and races, sending Kyrah off to race Pholon. Theo begins to rattle on about the rules of the game, and without him noticing, Xan slips into the water to swim alongside them as they walk slowly along the shore.

Under the water she finds clam shells with pearls within them. She taps them gently as she wims by.

A large clam tempts Xan. As she reaches in for the large black pearl. The clam catches her and holds her within its grasp. A tap on Xan’s shoulder reveals a beautiful neried with dark hair. She converses with Xan and asks her questions.

“Are you greedy?”

“Sometimes”

“Are you unwary?”

“I am aware.”

The neried swims up to the surface and disappears towards Theo on the shore. Xan stays in the shallows.

She introduces herself as Iphigenia, Iphi. She appears to cast some magics over Theo, and welcomes him into the water. Waist deep a ripple and wave jumps up onto them, and three dolphins appear. They swirl out into the swells of the island.
