Session 149 - “Do you want to get out of here?”

Xan jumps into action as the dragon screams out and plant zombies start to amble towards them. She reaches a statue of a large war like man, and after shooting an arrow into one of them, ducks behind the statue of the man. Before she can act again vines shoot from the statue and grasp her close, trapping her arms and bow between her body and the stone.
Theo creeps up behind her and asks “do you want to get out of here?” Xan nods, wanting to be free from the vines.
What she didn’t expect was to be transported halfway across the glade and dropped behind Hexia on a set of curved stairs. Two arrows thud into the stairs below her feet coming from the skeletons in the lair, and a third shoots past her, scraping Theo. Xan shoots one of the arrows out and hits a skeleton, ripping it to pieces.
Xan glances back at the woman Theo was speaking to, she speaks and it becomes clear she is Pythor’s daughter. While trying to fend of the newly sprouted monsters Xan shouts to the girl to help them in the fight. She can’t just sit there and watch them. Immediate regret falls on Xan’s face as the girl simply jumps up from her seat and runs down to the battlefield without any sort of plan.
Through the gaps in the wall Xan can see her friends in conflict with Hexia, Braz and Hipofilius in trouble and Alke fighting off a charmed Pythor. It doesn’t look good.
