Session 157 - Bark
The beast approached.
Xan sent a shortbow bolt through the air hitting one of the three headed dogs as it yelped. She aimed again. From the other side of the aena she saw Delg run towards another dog, try to hit it but instead get a nip on his body - he looked like he would drop in a second. Almost at the same time Mother Bellis screamed out a war cry and thundered her weapon against her shield.
Calliope shot up into the sky but stopped just shy of 20ft in the air, looking blocked by something and came back down to join Alke on the arena floor.
A sharp bark cuts through the air, knocking Xan and others off of their feet and back to the ground. She pulled her shortbow forward and aimed at the cerberus before her, shooting into it once again. Suddenly the arena plunges into darkness.
Noise echoes around the arena of the ongoing fight and Xan stays still trying to get her bearings. Before she can stand the darkness leaves in one quick snap. She pulls another bolt to aim at the cerberus.
