The Knights Radiant are a military organization residing in the Dome. They swear to be protectors of the innocent, traveling through the dome's portals to stomp out the evil and corrupt and protect the weak. Members of the Radiant are known to be able to see invisible entities known as Spren. They also have access to information provided by the Fountain that is restricted to everyone else.
To become a Radiant one must pledge the following oaths. Breaking one of these oaths would cause the person to be immediately removed from the order and ripped out of Fhey and sent back to their home plane.
- Life Before Death - The Radiant seeks to defend life, always. They never kill unnecessarily, and never risks their own life for frivolous reasons. Living is harder than dying. The Radiant's duty is to live.
- Strength before weakness - All men are weak at some time in their lives. The Radiant protects those who are weak, and uses their strength for others. Strength does not make one capable of rule; it makes one capable of service.
- Journey before destination - There are always several ways to achieve a goal. Failure is preferable to winning through unjust means. Protecting ten innocents is not worth killing one. In the end, all men die.
The Knights Radiant used to be a large and powerful organization. Up until, for unknown reasons, they all abandoned their oaths and deserted the dome. The dome was left inactive and the people they once protected defenseless. Until recently when a new group of adventurers powered it up again, three of them swearing the oaths.
