The fish thing starting talking (I still do no understand what it is exactly) It wanted us to check out a place far off from this strange Dome. Furet decided she would go with the group that was going to explore the area, so I must follow her and keep her safe. We passed by some strange holes where they warned us about some large worm creatures and we were attacked by giant scorpions. We prevailed against them pretty decidedly I decided the shell looked pretty so I took a few plate with me. (See Scorpion Burrows)
We decided to rest for the night (At Sandstone Ridges )or day they told me the sun never rises here. We came across a underground structure and can you believe i fell climbing! ME!! i fell my uncle Zarthog would be ashamed of me. I shame him. Luckily tho i had everyone tie together in case this happened. Did not think it would be me tho. To make up for my failure tried to reassure my new companions of my sureness i rushed the door we heard a strange crying behind and kicked the door off the hinges. Found a foul abomination behind it was a strange Kolbold with tentacles growing out of it. It appeared to be attracted to blood tho as it went after the other gnome Alvyn when he cut himself to do some sort of wizardry. We cut the creature down and found 2 more sleeping we moved thru them easier then the first vile one
We found a door leading further below and we headed in. The group moved past a door with out checking something i warned them would come back to bite us. I moved farther along leading the group to a storage area where we heard strange unusual animal sounds. I could not go forward without checking this for fear of being ambushed. When i opened the first door I was swarmed but the most horrid rats there could be. The tentacles and teeth just swarmed all over me. I struggle and fight but they overcame me and everything went black. I awoke once and then a disgusting creature took a chunk of my neck( I was told later). I was awoken once more by Haeldir this time the rats around me all dead but my fears from earlier were realized. That strange gnome seemed to deal with the ambush just fine tho faired much better then me. The group decided to take a nap and check out one more door before we were going to head back. Found 2 more of the horrid Kolbolts behind that door dealt with them fairly easy compared to those rats. Burr!! i get shivers just thinking of those disgusting things that almost ended my life. So we were running dangerously low on supplies and decided to head back to the dome.
