- Large ridges rising out of the desert sand heading from NW down SE. prohibit travel north or east of here without extensive climbing up and down several valleys, canyons and steep hills.
- Dusty trail leads along the base of the ridges, seems to be a path used by kobolds & something larger and clawed.
- Outcroppings and shallow caves provide decent shelter and help obscure light sources making this a decent rest stop
