The Northern Wastes

"The Northern Wastes" is something of a misnomer. The majority of northernmost region of Asuvia is lush and brimming with life. It is a strange land, filled with unique creatures and landmarks, wandering war machines and the ruins of long-forgotten civilizations. The creatures that dwell there and the Pervasive Zones that dot the area make it deeply hazardous.

Entry into the Wastes is illegal, but many still sneak across its border. Some are fleeing debt or judgement, hoping to stake out a life beyond the reach of civilization. Others only seek to plunder the ruins that are well known to the wastes, so that they might bring back contraband to sell.
