Takeda Sekiyo 

An eight-tailed fox spirit currently dwelling within Tawashi. Though wielding the power of her magic and her age, Sekiyo has taken on a humble lifestyle for the present day. 

Sekiyo met the bamboo cutter, Takeda Katatana, intending to seduce him to grow her own power. Finding him to be a compassionate and sincere man, Sekiyo refrained from her original intentions and eventually confessed that she was a kitsune. Katatana stated he had learned this some time ago. 

Sekiyo married Katatana and raised two children with him: Takeda Kichiro and Takeda Ayumi. She has aged her mortal disguise to match her husband's over the years. 

As a powerful spirit, Sekiyo has pride and influence. She holds her children to high expectations while still giving them love and accepting the growth and change of her family.
