Half-Spirit

Do-Yun's father, and Yeong-Suk's former partner; an alchemist, arcanist, and half-fox spirit. He is in the service of his master, Malegami. Kichiro is completely blind, and wears a cover over his eyes to hide and soothe the significant scarring around them.

According to Nam Eun-Ae, Kichiro met Yeong-Suk in their teenage years. The two of them would often sneak away together, often with Eun-Ae covering for Yeong-Suk, though on occasions she would follow the two of them and linger.

Later in life, Kichiro and Yeong-Suk would make a deal with Malegami. Do-Yun unintentionally became the collateral for this deal, leading Kichiro to attempt to fulfill its terms out of fear. When he encountered Do-Yun again as a young child, Kichiro found he was unable to hand him over to Malegami. This failure resulted in Malegami coercing Kichiro in order to remove what love he held for his son, though Kichiro blinded himself with acid to sabotage any future threat to Do-Yun.

Within the Campaign

Liutubang was introduced to Kichiro to be hired as escorts. He had been stuck without his usual aid, and wanted to harvest flowers near a spirit gate on the mountain. He was present for a fight against burnt undead, and appeared shaken after Loveless' death and revivification. However, he would change his colors by luring Do-Yun out alone, at which point he layered two different charms on him to lead him into the Spirit Realm.

Liutubang intercepted. Despite various warnings from Kichiro, they insisted on following him to Malegami's domain. When he went to announce them to the master, his sister, Ayumi appeared to help them escape. She revealed that Kichiro was Do-Yun's father.

Later, during The Ghost Festival, Kichiro was accompanied by Seung for a planned ambush to abduct Do-Yun. He poisoned Liutubang's food stores before the attack. Despite his determination to capture Do-Yun, he again tried to spare the party, pleading with them to give up and going as far as to stabilize several who had fallen unconscious.

There is an hourglass with his name written on it in Malegami's domain.

Over the year since Liutubang registered as an official sect, Kichiro has begun to travel with Yeong-Suk, though their relationship seems to lack the affection it once held. 

Do-Yun would later witness a vision showing why his father appeared to lack any emotion towards him, and the origin of his blindness.
