Takeda Katatana
A humble bamboo cutter living in the rural country of Tawashi. In his youth, he was approached by Takeda Sekiyo as her prey. Though Katatana realized she was a kitsune, he chose to accept this fact and continued their courtship. They would eventually marry and raise two children, Takeda Kichiro and Takeda Ayumi.
In his old age, Katatana continues his work as a craftsman with the support of his wife and daughter. He grieves the actions of his son, finding him shameful while still missing him.
