Quick pitch: This ocean extends from western Rozarria to eastern Landis, wrapping around the vast majority of the world (an estimated 12,000 miles). The Span is infamous for its near emptiness and its seemingly perpetual sky-and-sea horizon, making it near impossible to orient oneself without the sun, stars, or navigational instruments. There are a few island chains present throughout the Span, but none are known to be more than a few miles in diameter. The first documented journey across the Cerulean Span took a over a season, almost 20 weeks; the fastest recorded journey took 13 weeks.
