The opening act of the Desolation of Eastmarch, in which Arlak the Despoiler invaded and destroyed Eastmarch. The battle saw Gwayne Stoutheart and his companions face off against the attacker, costing Gerian the Vigilant his life. It also led to the formation of Harwethson's Bastards.
