The Hungering One, the Black Devourer, many are the names granted to Ullaylth throughout his reign of terror. Countless lives were lost and towns destroyed in the centuries through which he terrorised the northern areas of the Great Plain and Blinding Peaks. It was in 1 Before Fall when Garvan's Companions were finally able to corner the beast in its lair. Yet, despite all their skill and power the battle was close fought, and might have ended with the dragon victorious were it not for Ysil the Restless who, even as he was being burnt up by the beasts flames, leapt into its jaws and plunged his sword into the unprotected flesh inside, stabbing deep into the beasts brain.
