- Benise asks the party to investigate Westvale. But to not interfere. Just find out what is happening and report back. Haven't heard from them in a month and there was a request for aid that was cancelled.
- The rooms at the The Silver Sword Inn are prepaid for the next several days while the party is traveling

- As the party continues on, the area becomes quieter. Like the birds don't continue in the trees ahead.
- There is a broken wagon in the middle of the road.
- Wolves attack, the party clears them out easily, especially Tsev.
- Villagers show up to check in when they hear the fighting.
- The party learns that the town has been closed because of all the wolf attacks but that they don't want any help. They tell the party to go to the closest town Merwald Downs
- Something feels wrong, the party continues to investigate.
- Alan Willowreed is charmed for friendship. He is sad that one of the wolves he raised is dead.
- The other 'villager' yells at Alan and more wolves attack along with this villager.
- The party convinces Alan to run and hide.
