A valley nestled within the Balinok Mountain Range. The region is under the rule of His Lordship, Strahd von Zarovich. During the day, the sky is dimmed by fog or storm clouds and the light is dimly muted. Strange Mists also seem to border the region keeping many trapped within. The Old Svalich Road runs through the valley East to West.
