So, our journey resumes, the dawn of a new day rises. Another day in the World After the Fall.
Scene One
Me and Boy have rested a little in that safe place inside a store. That place had some items that I've used to resupply. I pick and check my gear to see if everything is there, and pet my dog a little, "let's go Boy, we need to hurry, it is dawning". We crawl out of the safe place, take a look at our surroundings to see if there aren't anymore Vamps or any other threat around. Its safe, good to go. Let's resume our expedition to Krocvil, we need to get there fast.
Undertake an Expedition: (+edge) = WEAK HIT (8 vs 10/3). Make two suffer moves (-1). Mark progress (+3 boxes).
Endure Harm: suffer -1 health. I choose to don't resist the harm.
Sacrifice Resources: Suffer -1 supply.
Current Health = +4.
Current Supply = +4.
Journey from Metro to Krocvil Progress = 6 boxes.
Mutant Year Zero Sector Environment table = 48 (Decayed Ruins).
Mutant Year Zero Normal Ruins table = 1/5 (Car Park).
We trek across the Zone as fast as we can to reach the Aironkru village in the north. We cross many ruins of buildings, not caring too much about being in the open and using the main road, then we arrive at one of the main waypoints in the road to Krocvil, a big building with a lot of cars parked there, many overgrown areas, and some strange signs that looks like a star crossed in a circle. There is a easy way to avoid getting to close to the building, as any Ranger would know, its best to avoid that damned place. I wonder what is there, but now is not the time for distractions. The way around is to cross a large place where there are many cars and some overgrown trees. There is a fence around it with some signs that reads something like "KEEP OUT", but there is nothing really there.

Oracle: Is there a threat in the Car Parking Lot? (50/50) = 85. Yes.
Oracle: Are there Vamps, here? (Likely) = 67. Yes.
Oracle: Is there too many Vamps to fight? (50/50) = 64. Yes.
As I enter the Car Parking Lot, moving fast to cross it, I hear a sound, and Boy starts a low growl, as he always do when some threat is nearby. I stop, crouch and try to take some cover beside one of the destroyed cars. I take a look around for any possible threat, and see them there, damned Vamps again. They seem to gather around and produce some noises between them, like they were talking about something. Strange, Vamps usually hisses and growls, but never something more elaborate, although I really can't understand a thing they seem to be talking. I look apprehensive to Boy, and start to move slowly, as I whisper "Come here Boy, quiet".
Face Danger: (+shadow) = STRONG HIT w/ OPPORTUNITY (8 vs 3/3). +1 momentum.
Current Momentum = +6.
I sneak around the parking lot to avoid the Vamps, and Boy is near me. As I was moving, I happen to notice the five Vamps look less feral than we usually see, and they say something like "Hom". This word is similar to Home, maybe this giant building is in fact their home? Or maybe they are trying to search for home? This is indeed very strange, and I'm curious to try to talk to them, but this would be crazy, certainly they would try to eat us alive, or at least, attack me and my dog. I'm not taking the risk, but this will be valuable information for the Monarks in Metro.
I cross the parking lot without attracting unwanted attention, avoiding the Vamps. Lets resume our journey. I hope I will not find anymore creatures or Vamps. This path wasn't so dangerous before, something must be happening to attract so many Vamps than before. I'm getting closer to Krovcvil.
Finish an Expedition: 6 boxes = WEAK HIT (6 vs 7/3). Face an unforeseen complication at the end of your expedition. Legacy reward 1 rank lower.
Current Discoveries Legacy track = 1 tick. Only 1 tick marked because of my asset Explorer.
Oracle: Settlement Trouble = 55. Preyed upon by raiders.
Scene Two
I continue my journey through the zone to reach Krocvil. As I start to see the trees, and the waters of the nearby swamp that faces the village, I see smoke. Something is wrong, is it fire smoke? I reach for my gear to see if I have packed a farsight (binoculars).
Check your Gear: (+supply) = MISS (5 vs 8/7). You don't have it. Pay the Price.
Current Failure track: 2 ticks.
"Dammit, I forgot to pick up a farsight in Metro", I say out loud. It seems that smoke is indeed fire, and it is big. Fuck, there is no time to lose. I increase my pace to reach Krocvil as fast as I can with Boy beside me. I fear the village is under attack or something really happened, I need to discover what happened to Krin, but more importantly, maybe this village is needing the help of the Rangers, and I am here.

Cursing to the Ancients, I see the main gate of the village destroyed, smoking from fires, noises of battle, screams of desperate people, and the clashing of metal on metal. I take the fastest route to be near the gate so I can have a vantage point to discover who is attacking Krocvil. When I get closer to the wall, Boy starts to growl, and bark ou loud. I turn my head around to see what this is all about, and suddenly someone appeared branding a sword and trying to hit me with it.
Enter the Fray: (+wits) = STRONG HIT (9 vs 6/3). Take +2 momentum. You are in control.
Current Momentum: +8.
Raiders: Dangerous.

My training with Uncle Krin payed off. I react with fast reflexes and evade the swing of the sword. The guy utters a "FUCK YOU!", as I put my hands on my weapons, and wield my machete. When I get a time to catch my breath, I see that I am surrounded by three people wearing ragged clothes with some armor in it. They all look like the descriptions of riders of the Zone my fellow Rangers talked about. These people are mutated by Ruin as they live nearer to the center of the Zone, where many strange and dangerous things happen, as people say. These three mutants have no great mutations, at least visible, but have some quirks like any other mutant, like their eye colors are different, their hair or skin. One of them, the one that tried to hit me, stands out with his red skin. Also they all seem to not have any firearms in them.
I have to get into the village, but first I need to deal with these fuckers...
