The Allied Nations of North America, or ANNA for short, is a political, economic, diplomatic, cultural and military union between The United States of America, The United Mexican States and The Anglo-American United Kingdom . It was created after the Great War to discourage German imperialism in the Americas, but was transformed into an interventionist organisation during World War II, allying with its former rival to wage war against the Soviet Union and Japan. Following the creation of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), ANNA's military importance subsided, but its multinational civic institutions are still vital to the continued economic superiority of the United States and its allies over the East. Some speak of a possible North American Union as ANNA matures and grows.
The following nations are members of ANNA:
Although they are different organisations with a different geographical focus, all members of ANNA are currently also members of NATO.
