Wahn, the Mischievous Raven, had a son of his own named Barraiya, whom he fashioned out of pieces of the other gods that he stole with his beak. Much like his father, though physically weak, Barraiya proved to be a genius and deciphered most of the universe's secrets shortly after coming to life. He pierced Eingana (who lacked a vagina) with his meteorite spear, thus letting her give birth to all the animals upon the Earth.
Out of all the animals, it was humans who Barraiya favoured the most for their mental resilience, determination and natural intelligence. For this reason he eventually revealed the secret of fire to them, allowing human civilisation to rise against all odds. However, it was his stone golem Nargun who taught them many other things.
He is the patron of craftsmen and artisans.
