As Bunjil's creations were engulfed in darkness by Balayang, the former sought to return all to order. Fearful of using up all of the primordial matter, Bunjil employed little of it to create another brother of his, named Wahn and shaped as a black raven, whose purpose would be to bring light to the Earth. Wahn attempted to accomplish this mission by lighting many things on fire, so that the land would be illuminated. He was driven away by a furious Bunjil, and occasionally returns to partake in numerous antics. Though physically and spiritually weak, his wisdom and intelligence is said to surpass even that of his older brother and creator.
He is the patron of jesters, comedians, philosophers and scientists.
