A few years after its independence, the internal tensions within Konratopia became obvious. In September of 1921 the representatives of 17 out of 25 major tribes and autonomous states were killed in a bomb attack at Tashkent, the Federation's capital. Uzbek nomadic secessionists were quickly framed, though the reality is that it was the work of Soviet agents as part of Operation: TRAITOROUS TENGRI, a scheme to bring Konratopia back into the Soviet sphere of influence. Fighting erupted throughout the country, though over 9 years of fighting the Soviet-aligned Konratopian Federal Army, under the command of President Gaygysyz Atabayev, was ultimately victorious, and set up the military junta that remains to this day.
