A nearby ranch and farming commune a half hour’s walk from Quillpond. The commune grows corn, soybeans, apples, pears and raises livestock. Sunrise is unique for its wild maize corn and rare varieties of livestock. It’s been speculated by members of the commune that the location resides in a place where Feywild and the Shadowfell converge, they believe the nearness to the two planes account for their success in maintaining diverse collections of plants and animals.
