The Smiling Siren

This large, but plain-looking, stone and mud-brick building stands in the center of a block of shops and apartments.

It is beloved for the statue of the siren over the door, whose skirts occasionally billow in the sea breeze, and the lushly-decorated fantasy land on the ground floor within, half sylvan paradise, and half beach-side wonderland.

Amidst the elaborate life-like sylvan murals, a magical golden basin sits in the entry room. There, customers tossed donations into the basin to pay for the privilege of spending time with the Sirens, as its workers are known. If the donation is sufficient, the water in basin glows and the customer is directed to a room by Sanchel.

The Siren has longstanding ties with the Temple of Beauty, Waterdeep's temple to Sune and is staffed almost entirely by priestesses of the goddess.
