Ashforth

Adjoining Corellon's Crown and the florist is a building that’s exterior can only be described as somber. The double-doored entrance set back from the alley in a small cobble courtyard and the sign beside it reads simply ‘Ashforth’.

Given the reverence with Waterdeep treats its dead, the business is quite strong.  Zem and Zebulon, assisted by their new hire Cassie, are devoted to their job and view necromancy as an abomination.

Daisy's

Jutting out of Ashforth's ground floor is a well-kept stall brimming with flowers of every description. Patrons come and go from the shop at regular intervals throughout the day.  Everyone seems to simply drop coins into what looks like a temple collection box.  No one seems to know why, but the honor system is working.

No shop keeper is ever present; Daisy Ashforth, the former proprietor of Ashforth, passed away several years ago after a long illness.  Since then, her sons have continued to put out flowers every day and customers leave money in the box for their purchases.

Baltasar Engleheart, resident of Trollskull Alley and teacher at Murkledorn Academy, was a good friend of Daisy's. He can't stand the idea of the shop closing and during Daisy's illness, placed a ward on the premises that compels absolute honesty. It's been maintained ever since.
