The Syndicate: A family of five merchants’ families, have estates in the Emerald quarters of Harllow. The organization was started almost eighty years ago, when a group of refugees from the Theocracy owned some smaller business but where constantly harassed by a group of wealthy merchants that did not like that they were offering wears and skills at a cheaper price than what the Merchants where offering. In the end these five families ended up joining forces, together they destroyed the arrogant merchants and ended up taking over their business ventures. Over the years they have hid their criminal organization from the nobility, as merchant of the Imperium. During the next eighty years the organization spread across the Imperium. Eventually trying to establish themselves in the capital, where they clashed with three other powerful organizations, they managed to wipe out one of them, but in the end, the Oldest gang the Crimson Hand, approached the Syndicate and the Trident, suggesting a tenuous peace. Which has lasted for the past fifty years.
