1. Locations

Tullach Port

Tullach Port is the isle's only city, and home to half its population. It's a bustling modern city, but with old roots. Founded by Owyen Gallhager in the latter half of the 8th century AD, it started with humble beginnings. By the time of the Norman invasions of Eire in the late 1200s, it was a small city, but home to fierce and independent people, well versed in defending their shores from invaders. And the stout castle that still stands near the heart of old town is proof of that. Now centuries later it has grown, even if it's still small by mainland standards. The city is home to both the best of the old and new worlds; these are just a few of the most well known spots in town: 

  • The beautiful cathedral of St. Brigid, and its Victory square, built in 1332,
  • The University of St. Brendan established shortly after the founding of trinity college in 1601.
  • The infamous Garden and its rumored delights
  • The Whales Rest pub near the docks.

Old Town

The heart of Tullach and where the city hall is  located, is Old town, home to the oldest buildings and full of history its a must see for any travelers to the isle.

St. Ailbhe's Hospital

Originally built in the late 1600s, the hospital has gone through many renovations. The most recent of which was completed in 2009, when it was basically rebuilt from the ground up. A top of the line institution, if small, it also has a medical program that is partnered with the University.

Chase Lavigne's School of Dance

Awarded the British empire medal in her Majesty’s birthday honours list in 2017, Chase Lavigne is a fellow of the National association of teachers of dancing, Latin American branch and the All Ireland board of Ballroom Dancing, Ballroom branch. He is also an honorary member of the world dance council as well as Global ambassador to the WDC amateur league. The Chase Lavigne school of dancing was established by his parents in 1997.

Abbeyton

Abbeyton is the small district that surrounds the cathedral, home to many buildings owned by the church. The church uses victory square or Brigid's plaza, for many festivals and events throughout the year.

Construction of the great edifice began in 1302 and would be finished 30 years later. At first it was to be in honor of St. Patrick, but in 1312 the events that lead to the canonization of Brigid occurred. Thus by the time it was finished they had long decided to dedicate it to her. Shortly after, the statue of her was made, the centerpiece of the great plaza in front of the church.  Characters who are parishioners and clergy members can join this organization: St. Brigid Catholic Church and Student Center.

The Shores

Along the shore line, home to docks, piers, wharfs and all such manner of maritime industry is the Shores. A ramshackle district in some areas it's alos home to most of the city's crime.

The Whale's Rest

" Claiming to be the oldest pub of the port, the Whale has seen hundred of patrons within its spacious walls. Above the bar hanging from the ceiling is a massive whale skull which is what gave the pub it's name.

New Town

Along the northern side of Tullach is New Town, full of modern buildings and new built neighborhoods, its home to most of the middle class of the city. Malls, cinemas, fast food and chain stores make up most of its commercial value, but there are also a few tech companies that have been exploiting a growing European market.

Grenn Hill

Then there is Grenn Hill, the upper crust of the city live in gated communities along the hills that lead to the rocky coastline. Home to old Castle and the Gallahger estate. Its also where the old greens can be found, a pair of large beautiful parks, one private, and one public can be found.

A pair of well maintained parks, though the north green is a private park reserved for the wealthy and influential, all sorts of rumors exist about what goes down at some exclusive gatherings. While the south green, open to the public, is a popular spot throughout the summer and days of nice weather.
