The Rhapsodist is a well known bard from the Grung of the Skean region in Ulmar. He is well versed in what they call 'Real Music', meaning music that will transport its listeners into the story it is telling. Many people in Merilleon are not familiar with this kind of music, and thus are often startled to find out. His first encounter with Merilleon was in the town of Northport, in the The Swomp inn run by the ogre names Shrok. Here he encountered The Beatles and played them a song called 'Killer Queen'. After experiencing their first taste of 'Real Music', the bard Serall ke Kolu set off to learning this skill from the Rhapsodist.

Name

The Grung change their name based on what they are known as. Thus 'Rhapsodist' is both his title and his name, referring to his ability to weave stories in verse.
