Anora Stoutfoot is a halfling historian, considered the spiritual (and blood) successor to famed historian Flynn Stoutfoot. Born in AL 3959, two years before Flynn's passing, Anora's earliest memories are her great-grandfather's wild stories about the world. Her appetite for knowledge grew, and shortly after Flynn's passing she read through the entirety of Geographica Terrania and The Complete Anthropology of Terrania before the age of 10.
She made friends with frequent travelers, especially the roving Tiefling clans, with whom she built a strong friendship and who helped her amass a collection of literature from around the world. As she read, she noted some gaps in her great-grandfather's tomes, notably the formations of the Gurtzgegaart Confederacy and the Uljarytiss Shogunate, which occurred shortly after the completion of his books. Determined, she set out on an expedition of her own in AL 3992.
Four years into her expedition, in AL 3996, the influx of arcane power imbued her with the ability to cast spells, her informal study manifested as magical power. Thus, in concurrence with her exploration of the world, she also trains to wield her magic.
Anora's anthropological research has been published as The Complete Anthropology of Terrania in the Age of Arcana, which continues to be updated to this day.
