Torben is a servant of the lich, Acererak, who poses as a priest of Lathander. He traveled with Team TRASH (pandas) through the The Domains of Dread until they entered the Weathermay Mausoleum, where he encountered a vision of the dreadlord, Azalin Rex. Azalin made thinly veiled threats against Torben, and encouraged him to visit the Amber Temple. He quickly departed to do so.
