Menzoberranzan is a large drow city in The Underdark. It is ruled by a matriarchal theocracy of the Spider Queen, Lolth. One of the most powerful priestesses of Lolth in the city is Quenthel Baenre, who is the matriarch of House Baenre, and the eldest sister of the mercenary, Jarlaxle Baenre.
