Escher Preshlow is a bard who works for Strahd Von Zarovich and lives in Castle Ravenloft. Team TRASH (pandas) strongly suspect that he is also in a relationship, or has been in a relationship, with Strahd, though Strahd denies the assertion. Escher has a melodramatic personality and laments that he is frequently ignored by both Strahd and Strahd's brides. When Cherish wished for Strahd and his consorts to be good, Escher was split into good and evil halves like the rest of them.
Escher can play the flute, the glass armonica, and can sing. He also enjoys writing poetry, and he misses attending operas in Greyhawk, where he was born.
Cherish: “You have very nice wives. And a very nice husband.”
Strahd: “Escher is not my husband.”
Cherish: “Boyfriend.”
Strahd: “Court poet."
