Unorganized
Desert Native
Thri-Kreen’s alien nature makes them distrusted by non-Thri-Kreen, imposing a -2 penalty to Persuasion rolls. Furthermore, Thri-Kreen are not citizens of the seven cities and as such aren’t offered even the basic legal protections citizens of the seven cities enjoy.
Elf Eater
Thri-Kreen particularly dislike elves and half-elves, making them quick to escalate conflict and imposing a -2 penalty to persuasion rolls.
Illiterate
Thri-Kreen have no written language and have difficulties with learning the written ones. Illiterate characters can’t read or write in any language, no matter how many they actually speak.
Clutch Bond
Thri-Kreen form strong bonds with their clutch-mates, an adaptable understanding that can include a party of adventurers. This stalwart defender risks her life for her friends without hesitation. Some Loyal heroes may not act that way, but are the first to come to their friends’ rescue when they’re threatened.
Claws
Thri-Kreen have sharp claws that deal d4+Str damage.
Natural Leaper
Thri-Kreen have powerful legs capable of launching them long distances. They can jump twice as far as normal. In addition, they add +4 to damage when leaping as part of a Wild Attack instead of the usual +2 (unless in a closed or confined space where he cannot leap horizontally or vertically— GM’s call).
Torpor
Thri-Kreen only need half the time to sleep.
Four arms
Thri-Kreen have four usable arms. This reduces their total Multi-Action penalty by two as long as at least one of the actions makes use of their limbs (typically Agility, Strength, or linked skills).
