For nearly a year he has been sharing the space with a halfling bard named Rinaldo. Rinaldo came in search of information about a folklore of the spirit for which the Inn in named, "The White Lady. Rinaldo compulsively reads the world around him with a deck of tarot cards, which has drawn in a slew of interesting individuals to the Inn - and also their money, but the longer time Rinaldo spends at the Inn, the more obsessed he becomes with the tall tale. Over time, he begins to tell an increasingly more disturbed Bartaban that he oftentimes see's the spirit of the woman, and has ambitions to perform a seance and communicate with her directly.
At first, Bartaban does not like Rinaldo - but appreciates that he draws in new faces, in search of answer from the Cards. Overtime he secretly develops a soft spot for the Tarot Card Bard.
