Zachariah is at first glance a scrawny, spindly fellow, and his hunched posture belies how tall he really is.
His long, thin arms end in skeletal, spider-like hands, with cracked, darkened nails. He often locks his hands together, as for prayer, absent-mindedly.
His pale skin is in stark contrast to his dark, long and rather unkempt hair that often hangs over his face. His head are still wrapped in the cloth that used to cover his blind eyes, but now they are pulled apart just enough to reveal the colourless eyes in their sullen sockets. His facial skin, and nose, has rotted away enough to leave him with almost skull like grimace.
Meanwhile his grey colored robes, torn and worn from travel, hide the fact that his back is horribly scarred from burns, from head right down the legs: a dark reminder from fires of Stratholme.
With him, Zachariah always carries a dusty tome that seems almost too heavy to be carried by his gaunt frame. 'Equilibrium', as he call his book, contains many prayers, hymns and rituals, both virtues and vile.
