The Bramblescar is a large stretch of what has been believed to have once been a lush marshland, out of which only dried-out creeks and riverbeds remain — giving the land a characteristically scarred appearance.
All that remains of vegetation throughout the Bramblescar, are dense webs of tree-sized brambles. They twist and coil across the land, creating numerous obstacles for crossing directly through.
Crossing the Bramblescar
The easiest way to cross the scar, and the one actively maintained by the Horde as a journey between The Crossroads and the southern Barrens, is a guarded bridge.
The Gold Road runs some way westward along the northern edge of the Bramblescar before it reaches this guarded bridge, making it a tempting proposition to try and cut directly through the brambles to try and shave some time off a long journey.
Dangers in the Bramblescar
The far eastern and far western stretches of the Bramblescar are kept by Quillboar tribes. To the east the hillside settlement of the Razormane Tribe, and off to the far west lies the Bristleback Tribe settlement of Agama'gor.
There are also some raptor grounds in the Bramblescar, as the rough terrain makes excellent covers for raptor packs to keep their nests secure.
